Delete Your Account

If you wish to delete your account and associated data, follow the steps below:

Option 1: Via Email

  1. Send an email to hello@wordsmith-app.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."
  2. Include the email address associated with your account in the message.
  3. Our team will process your request within 7 business days and confirm the deletion via email.

Important: Deleting your account will remove all your data, including your word collections and progress. This action cannot be undone.

Option 2: In-App

  1. Open the Account tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Optionally, tell us why you're leaving.
  4. Tap Continue.
  5. Confirm that you wish to delete your Wordsmith account and data.

What happens when you delete your account: Your account is deleted and you are signed out. This cannot be undone. Your words, collections and progress are erased from our systems. Our Privacy Policy says how long that takes and what stays in backups.
